Description

Delicate intimate cleanser that allows frequent use without habitually causing irritation. Contains plant extracts with known eudermic and anti-inflammatory properties, such as Aloe Vera and Calendula. It is also enriched with Glyceril Monolaurate, Tea Tree Oil and Octenidine, which have antimicrobial activity.

Aliant IntimACTIV contains Glyceryl Monolaurate, Octenidine, Glycyrrhizic Acid, Tea Tree oil, Vitamin B5, Calendula and Aloe Vera.

Characteristics

Glyceril Monolaurate is a compound of natural origin with antifungal and antimicrobial activity. For example, it is able to counteract the growth of Candida Albicans and can modulate the host's inflammatory response. Octenidine has antiseptic properties. Glycyric acid is derived from licorice root and can modulate the inflammatory and allergic response. Tea Tree Oil is extracted from the Malaleuca alternifolia plant. Thanks to its high content of terpenes, highly lipophilic molecules, tea tree oil can damage the cell membranes of bacteria, causing the release of ions and nucleic acids. It also interferes in the LPS-induced synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines and prostaglandins. It can also alter the permeability of the cell and mitochondrial membranes of fungal cells. Vitamin B5 has moisturizing, eudermic properties and promotes skin regeneration and healing. Calendula has a soothing and rebalancing action. Aloe Vera is well known for its moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and healing properties. In fact, it stimulates the growth and activity of macrophages and fibroblasts and is able to reduce the synthesis of pro-inflammatory substances.

How to use

Pour a small amount of product on the palm of your hand and gently cleanse the affected parts. Gently rinse. The product can be used diluted, in which case rinsing is not essential.
