Description

Lotion based on substances with natural antibacterial and antifungal activity and a licorice derivative with moisturizing and preventive properties of redness. Particularly indicated in case of predisposition to the development of mycosis or when frequenting humid environments such as swimming pools, saunas, gyms. It can also be used on the external genitalia.

Components

Aliant MICO Spray contains among the ingredients Climbazole, Undecylenic Acid, Glycyrrhetic Acid, Tea tree oil and Chlorhexidine.

Characteristics

Climbazole has antifungal activity, being active for example against Malassezia Furfur (microorganism responsible for dandruff) by inhibiting ergosterol, one of the main components of the cell membrane of fungi. Undecylenic acid is an antifungal, particularly active against the Candida Albicans fungus, of which it inhibits, for example, the proliferation, adhesion, mitochondrial activity and formation of the hypha. Glycyrrhetic acid is derived from licorice and is able to reduce oxidative damage to the tissues and interfere with the synthesis of inflammatory mediators. Tea Tree Oil is extracted from the Melaleuca alternifolia plant. Thanks to its high content of terpenes, highly lipophilic molecules, tea tree oil can damage the cell membranes of bacteria, causing the release of ions and nucleic acids. It also interferes in the LPS-induced synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines and prostaglandins. It can also alter the permeability of the cell and mitochondrial membranes of fungal cells. Chlorhexidine is an antiseptic. It is able to bind to the phosphoproteins of the bacterial wall and penetrate inside the cell causing likage of cytoplasmic material.

How to use

Spray the desired amount of product directly on the area to be treated, possibly massaging gently.
