Moisturizing Treatment

Description

Keratoplastic treatment is a 10% Lipostabilized Pure Urea cream, specific for mild callused imperfections, dry and cracked heels and fragile skin. Deeply moisturizes, refreshes and gives immediate and prolonged relief to dry, rough and cracked feet and heels. It absorbs quickly, it is not greasy. It soothes itching, strengthens the skin barrier and helps make the skin smooth, soft and supple.

Podoval UR10 contains 10% of Lipostabilized Pure Urea.

Characteristics

Urea is an organic compound that used topically can have, depending on the concentration of use, a moisturizing or keratolytic effect. The moisturizing effect is obtained by using low concentrations and is due to an increase in the binding sites for water at the level of the stratum corneum and a reduction in trans-epidermal water dispersion. The kerato-reducing and keratolytic effect is obtained instead at higher concentrations (30-50%) and the mechanism seems to be the alteration, by breaking the hydrogen bonds, of the quaternary structure of the keratin of the stratum corneum. The urea is thus able to denature and disperse the keratin and to thin the stratum corneum without damaging the skin barrier.

How to use

Apply regularly morning and evening to clean and dry feet. Gently massage, especially on the heels, until completely absorbed.
