Santes ovuli is a medical device useful for the treatment and prevention of vaginal affections including lesions, ectopias (known as sores) and other alterations of the vaginal mucosa, also caused by physical treatments (diathermocoagulation, laser therapy, cryotherapy, radiotherapy). The treatment appears to be lubricating and consequently soothing, particularly in menopausal patients.

When to use Santes

Santes is an adjuvant in the treatment of vulvovaginitis and cervicovaginitis of any origin and nature. It is recommended to use this device After physical treatment (DTC, Laser therapy, Cryotherapy) in association with healing therapy.

How do you take Santes

The dosage for this product is as follows, it is recommended to take as follows depending on the disorder you want to solve:

• as an adjunct to vaginal affections, 1 egg in the evening for 7 consecutive days is recommended;
• as an adjunct to physical treatment it is recommended to use 1 egg in the evening for 14 consecutive days starting from the first day of physical treatment;
• as an adjuvant to the soothing and lubricating treatment we recommend 1 egg in the evening for 14 consecutive days.

Features of Santes

Preparation based on hyaluronic acid, sodium salt 5 mg per egg, whose local use creates the optimal conditions for the migration and proliferation of the cells responsible for the repair process.
Hyaluronic acid is the main component of the fundamental substance of the dermis and is important in all phases of the healing process, moreover it is a good adjuvant for the healing and repair of skin and mucous lesions.
Due to its hygroscopic properties, hyaluronic acid is able to maintain a humid environment favoring the tissue regeneration process, this associated with Vitamins A and E in the product ensures an antioxidant activity against free radicals and a protective action on the mucous membranes and on epithelia in general.

Composition of Santes ovules

Each 2 g vaginal egg contains: hyaluronic acid sodium salt 5.00 mg, tocopheryl acetate 1.00 mg, retinyl palmitate 1.00 mg, semisynthetic glycerides to taste.

Proper conservation of Santes

It is advisable to store the product in a cool and dry place away from sources of heat and humidity. It is advisable to take the product within the indicated expiry times and to consume the product only if properly stored.
