Homeopathic Drops

Perennial plant with strong aromatic odor up to 30 cm high. Stems woody at the base, pubescent, more or less tetragonal, erect, usually widely branched, so as to form a small bush. Bright green leaves, opposite, very spaced on the stem, whole, linear-lanceolate, leathery, bordered by small cilia, and carry a bundle of 2-8 leaflets at the glandular axilla.
Fragrant and white flowers, collected in spikes at the axil of the upper leaves.

Active principles:

Essential oils up to 1.6% (carvacrol, p-cymene, thymol, alpha and beta pinene, myrcene, limonene, cineol, borneol, linaiol, alpha terpineol), triterpenic acids (ursolic, oleanolic), tannins up to 8 , 5%, phenolic acids (caffeic, rosmarinic).

Internal use (hydroalcoholic solution)

Savory, also called "Italian ginseng" by some, has tonic, stimulating, antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal, carminative, aphrodisiac, astringent, antihelminthic, choleretic, spasmolytic and expectorant properties.

Indications : Sexual impotence, frigidity, asthenia and covalescence, dyspepsia, ascaridiosis, oxyuriasis, diarrhea, flutolence, angina (local use with gargle), chronic bronchitis.

Dosage : 30 drops in a little water three times a day after meals.
