Sars-CoV-2- Antigen Rapid Test Hightop - Rapid Buffer

The Rapid Antigen Test is designed for the qualitative in vitro detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen in human nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal swab. For human, non-animal use only.

Rapid test used to detect SARS-CoV-2 antigen within 7 days of the onset of symptoms of a suspected coronavirus infection. A positive test result can be used for early isolation and rapid treatment of suspected cases, but cannot be used as a basis for confirming coronavirus infection. If the test result is positive, isolate yourself and contact your doctor or call the corona hotline. A positive test result must be confirmed by a PCR test. Please note that even if the result is negative, there is no guarantee that infection will be ruled out, as low viral loads or possible change errors can lead to erroneous results.

How to use

Bring all test kit components to room temperature (15-mas, 30 ° C) and wash hands 30 minutes before use.

Preparation

  • Unscrew the cap and open the Extraction Tube with Swab. Do not pour liquids;
  • Open the foil pouch containing the test box in the marked position and discard the desiccant;
  • Take out the test box and place it on a flat, clean surface. The test box cannot be used after opening for half an hour. Test immediately;
  • Open the cotton swab package on the valve stem.

Front nose sample

  • Insert the cotton swab into the first nostril about 2-2.5 cm. The tip of the swab should be completely immersed in the nasal cavity. If resistance is felt, do not go deep into the anterior nose;
  • Rub on the inner wall of the nose in a circular motion 5 times (about 15 seconds);
  • Insert the same cotton ball into the second nostril and repeat the above operation.

Sample preparation

  • After sampling, immerse the swab in the solution in the extraction tube and rotate the swab 10 times. Let it work for 1 minute;
  • Use the extraction tube to squeeze the swab. Collect the liquid in the tube;
  • Take the cotton ball and put it in the garbage bag;
  • Close the extraction tube with the capped sample. Unscrew the drip cap on the top. The sample is ready for testing.

Sample evaluation

  • Add 2, maximum 3, drops of the mixed solution from the extraction tube to the sample well in the test box;
  • Read the result after 15 minutes. The result after 20 minutes makes no sense.
  • Note: Do not use the test box. Single use.

Interpretation of the test results

POSITIVE : Red lines appear on both the control and test lines.
A positive result means that you are most likely infected with SARS-CoV-2. To encourage self-isolation, stay at home, try to avoid contact with roommates and not receive visitors. Please contact your physician or call the Corona hotline. A positive test result must be confirmed by a PCR test.
NEGATIVE : The red line appears only on the control line, there is no red line on the test line.
It means that you may not be infected with SARS-CoV-2. A negative result is not 100% reliable. Keep your distance, wear a face mask, and wash your hands often.
INVALID : If no lines appear on the control line, the sample size is insufficient, the operation is incorrect, or the test has expired. The strength of the displayed line may vary.
An invalid result means this test cannot determine if you have SARS-CoV-2. New tests are needed to get valid results.

Warnings

  • Do not use expired or damaged products. The expiration date is printed on the outer carton.
  • Suitable for people aged 16 and over. Keep the test kit out of the reach of children to reduce the risk of accidentally drinking the swab or swallowing small parts.
  • The test box should be used as soon as possible after taking it out of the foil pouch to avoid prolonged exposure to a humid environment, as this will affect the test results.
  • At room temperature (15-30 ° C) and humidity below 60%, the kit must be used within half an hour of opening. If the humidity exceeds 60%, use it immediately after opening the package.
  • Don't freeze the test suite.
  • After use, the test device should be placed in a lockable garbage bag in the household trash.
  • Incorrect operation can affect the accuracy of results, such as insufficient effective time in buffer, too small or too much buffer in solution, insufficient sample addition, inaccurate detection time, and more.
  • False negative results can occur when the swab is placed in the bag between sampling and evaluation.
  • Do not aspirate the sample with your mouth.
  • During the test, do not smoke, eat, drink, wear makeup, wear contact lenses, or remove contact lenses.
  • Disinfect spilled samples or reagents with a disinfectant.
  • If the Extraction Reagent comes into contact with the skin or eyes, wash / rinse the affected area with plenty of water. If you notice irritation, contact your doctor.
  • After testing, put all components in a sealable plastic bag, then dispose of it as household waste or residual waste.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly after testing.

Limitations of the test program

  • Tests of this product should not be considered as a final diagnosis, but as a clinical reference only. Judgment should be made on the basis of clinical data such as RT-PCR results, clinical symptoms and prevalence of infectious diseases. - If the virus antigen content in the sample is below the limit of detection, the test result may be negative.
  • As the disease continues, the number of antigens in the sample may decrease. Compared to the RT-PCR test, the result may be negative 7 days after the onset of symptoms.
  • Due to the limitations of testing procedures, a negative result cannot rule out the possibility of infection. A positive result should not be considered a definitive diagnosis but should be evaluated in the context of clinical symptoms and other diagnostic methods.
