SCANDISHAKE® NUTRICIA® CHOCOLATE MIX

Scandishake Mix is a dietetic food for special medical purposes in powder, with a high energy concentration with milk proteins, carbohydrates, fats and some minerals.

Available in neutral, vanilla and chocolate flavors.

Indications

Scandishake Mix is indicated in the dietary management of Cystic Fibrosis and malnutrition related to it and / or related to other diseases in children and adults.

Use and doses

The quantity of Scandishake Mix must be determined by the doctor only and depends on the age, body weight and clinical condition of the patient.
Maximum recommended doses:
Quantity / day
From 3 to 5 years: 1/2 sachet
From 5 to 10 years: 1 sachet
From 10 years up: 1/2 sachets
NB: 1 85g sachet of Scandishake Mix to be integrated into 240ml of whole milk.

Osmolarity

The osmolarity of Scandishake Mix at the recommended dilution is:
Neutral taste = 850 mOsmol / l
Chocolate flavor = 1100 mOsmol / l
Vanilla flavor = 1100 mOsmol / l

Important notices

To be used under medical supervision. Cannot be used as the sole source of nourishment.
Do not use injecting.
Do not use in infants and children under 3 years of age.

storage

Store in a dry place away from heat sources.
Once opened pouch of Scandishake Mix use within 2-3 days.
