Lichen has an inflammatory phase, a subsequent phase of atrophy and a final phase of true sclerosis. The evolution of scleroatrophic lichen is a phimosis. In this case, a very hard ring is formed which comes to completely close the penis.

We don't know the cause of lichen. In the genital parts we commonly observe continuous and recurrent infections, such as candida. In this case the candida causes continuous inflammatory processes and which consequently gives rise to atrophy and sclerosis. Many types of lichen are also linked to situations of stress and psychophysical fatigue. In fact, we know that the nervous system can intervene on the immune system with the response of T lymphocytes.

SCLEROHYAL contains Cardiospermum halicacabum, Depollinata Propolis, Aloe vera gel, Hyaluronic Acid, Hypericum Extract, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide.

• Cardiospermum halicacabum: cortison-like effect.
• Pollinated propolis: anti-inflammatory, antifungal, anesthetizing action.
• Zinc Oxide: anti-inflammatory, healing action.
• Titanium Dioxide: protective, anti-itch action.
• Hyaluronic Acid: lubricating, healing and anti-inflammatory action, as it prevents damage due to physical stress and hinders the free diffusion of particular substances, such as bacteria and infectious agents.
• Hypericum extract: emollient and healing action (erythema-dryness of the skin).
• The plant extract of Cardiospermum halicacabum boasts anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties by virtue of an effect similar to that of cortisone and known as the cortison-like effect.

The active ingredients of the cortisone-like effect are the phytosterols contained in the flowering tops which have an action:

• anti-inflammatory
• moisturizing
• regulating sebum
• antipruritic

But above all they are able to stabilize the cell membranes of hair and mucous membranes which, in case of dermatitis, are less reactive.

In this way the synthesis of the epidermis is not compromised and situations of dryness and thinning of the skin frequent in cortisone therapies are avoided.

The topical application of Cardiospermum guarantees physiological support in allergic and inflammatory manifestations also accompanied by itching.

It also helps restore the integrity of the irritated skin barrier.

How to use

It is applied to clean and dry skin once a day or as needed. Thanks to its excipients, it is easily spreadable and absorbable.
