How to use
Insert the mouthpiece in the appropriate housing. Do not force, the mouthpiece should only be inserted for a few centimetres.
Press the power button, the total number of tests performed will immediately appear on the BACtrack screen, and then the countdown will begin.
When the countdown reaches 2, begin to inhale deeply.
When the countdown reaches zero, “START” will flash and the screen will show three lines. Blow into the mouthpiece for five seconds until you hear a double beep.
Once the sensor has analyzed the breath sample, the estimated BAC value will appear on the screen.

The BACtrack breathalyzer will turn off automatically after 15-20 seconds. You can also turn off the breathalyzer during the countdown by holding down the start button for 3 seconds.

Error notifications :
- If the subject does not blow a sufficient sample of air, the LCD screen will show “FLo”. Press start to restart the countdown and repeat the test.
- If no air is blown within 15 seconds, the LCD screen will show “Out”. Press start to restart the countdown and repeat the test.
- If the unit is started up outside the permitted temperature range (0-40°C or 32-104°F) the unit will show the word Out°F and it will not be possible to perform the test.
- If the battery indicator on the screen is empty, insert two new AAA alkaline batteries.
- If the unit displays “Err2” after step 4, it means that too much saliva entered the sensor during the test. Wait 20 minutes and try again.

Memory mode : Enter memory mode by pressing the memory button during the countdown. The most recent result will appear first. The next ones will be shown
