Mom Test LH Screen - Ovulation Test

The LH Ovulation Test is a lateral scrolling immunoassay for the qualitative detection of the LH surge in urine, indicating that ovulation is likely to occur in the next 24-36 hours.
The test uses a combination of antibodies including the LH monoclonal antibody to selectively detect high levels of LH.

Precautions

Do not use beyond the expiration date printed on the sealed package.
Do not use if package is torn or damaged.
Store in a dry place at 2-30 ° C or 36-86 ° F. Do not freeze.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not open the test package until you are ready to start the test.
For in vitro diagnostic use only. Not for internal use.
Used test must be disposed of according to local regulations.

How to use

Determine the test start day using the "When to start test" table.
Bring the package to room temperature before opening it. Remove the test device from the sealed pouch and use it within one hour.
Remove the cap and place it over the Thumb Grip.
Hold the cap grip device with the absorbent tip exposed and directed down directly into the urine stream for at least 15 seconds until completely wet.
Note: Do not urinate on the Results Window. If you prefer, you can urinate into a clean, dry container and then soak the absorbent tip of the test in the urine for at least 15 seconds.
After removing the test from the urine, immediately put the cap back on the absorbent tip, place the test on a flat surface with the Results Window facing up and start counting the time.
As the test begins to work, you may notice a faint color coursing through the result window.
Read the results after 3 minutes. If no results appear, wait another minute. Do not read the results after 10 minutes.

Reading the results

POSITIVE : two colored lines appear, the line in the Test area is the same color or darker than the one in the Control area. This indicates that she will likely ovulate within the next 24-36 hours.
NEGATIVE : Two colored lines appear, but the line in the Test area is lighter than the one in the Control area, or there is no line in the Test area. This indicates that no LH peak was detected and the daily test must continue.
NULL : the result is null if no colored line appears in the Control area, even if a line appears in the Test area. You will have to repeat the procedure with a new test.

Limits

For in vitro self-diagnostic use only.
This test cannot be used as a birth control method.
The test results should not be affected by pain relievers, antibiotics and other commonly used medications. Medicines containing hCG or LH can affect the test and should not be taken when using the LH Rapid Ovulation Test (Urine). Also, the test does not work properly on people who are pregnant, menopausal, or taking birth control pills.
