Urinary Tract Infections Screen Check-Test - Quick Test

The Urine Infection Screen Check Test detects infections in the urinary tract. The rapid test detects and analyzes the presence of Leukocytes, Blood, Nitrite and Protein in human urine.

How to use it

ATTENTION

It is recommended to take a urine sample for testing early in the morning as it is the most concentrated. The urine used for the test should not come in contact with toilet water or any disinfectant or cleaning product.
Women should not perform this test during or for three days following their menstrual cycle. The urine sample should not be contaminated with vaginal fluids as the test may produce misleading results. Do not make important medical decisions without first consulting your doctor.

COLLECTION OF URINE

• Collect some urine in the plastic container provided or use a clean container with no detergent residue.
• Be sure to fill the container with urine.
• Open the sealed pouch and remove the test strip. Do not touch the test fields. Once the package has been opened, it is advisable to carry out the test immediately.
• Immerse the test strip in the urine sample. CAUTION: Make sure all four test fields are submerged for at least 1-2 seconds.
• Remove the test strip and wipe away any excess urine by wiping it over the rim of the container or using absorbent material (e.g. a paper towel) to avoid mixing chemicals from nearby areas.
• Wait 2 min. (do not read the results after 3 minutes).
• Read the results separately for each parameter, compare the color with the table in the package insert.
• Changes in color on the edges of the test swabs or beyond 3 minutes should be ignored.
