Screen Test SARS-CoV-2 Lollipop
SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Antigen Rapid Test (Saliva)
Description
Single-use test designed for the detection of the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19, in human saliva.
This test is designed for home use on self-collected saliva samples from symptomatic individuals with suspected SARS-CoV-2 infection. The test provides only a preliminary result, definitive confirmation should be based on clinical diagnostic results.
Instructions for use
Before the test
Do not put anything in your mouth including food, drinks, gum or tobacco and derivatives for at least 10 minutes before sampling.
Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before testing. If soap and water are not available, use a hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol.
Bring the test device to room temperature (15-30°C) before testing. Cough deeply 3-5 times. Wear a mask or cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing and keep a safe distance from other people.
Method 1
Remove the test device from the sealed package and use it within one hour. Better results are obtained if the test is performed immediately after opening the sealed package.
Remove the device cap. Push your tongue against your jaw and mandible to produce saliva. Insert the cotton end of the swab into your mouth and actively swab around the gums on both sides of your mouth (10-15 times) to aid saturation. Place the absorbent pad under the tongue to collect saliva until a flow appears in the test window (approximately 2 min.) then remove the device from the mouth and close the cap.
Place the test device on a flat surface and then start the timer.
Keep the test straight while taking the sample, the handle part cannot be lower than the swab end. Do not move the test device while taking it.
Read the results at 15 minutes. Do not interpret results after more than 20 minutes.
Once tested, place all components in the biohazard plastic bag and dispose of according to local legislation. Wash your hands well after discarding the test.
Method 2
Collect a sufficient amount of fresh saliva (at least 0.5 mL) in a disposable container.
Remove the test device from the sealed package and use it within one hour. Better results are obtained if the test is performed immediately after opening the sealed package.
Remove the device cap. Place the absorbent pad in the saliva sample and leave it immersed until it is completely saturated. Hold the device upright until flow appears in the test window (approximately 2min). Then take out the test device and place it on a flat surface, then start the timer.
Do not move the test device during testing. Do not touch the test window on the device.
Read the results at 15 minutes. Do not interpret results after more than 20 minutes.
Once tested, place all components in the biohazard plastic bag and dispose of according to local legislation. Do not reuse any component of the kit. Wash your hands well after discarding the test.
