Giardia Lamblia Rapid Test Dog Cat (Feces)
Description
Test designed to detect Giardia Lamblia antigens in stool.
Two antibodies in the kit bind specifically to different epitopes of the antigens. After being absorbed by the cellulose pad, the Giardia Lamblia antigens move and bind with the anti-Giardia colloidal gold complex on the conjugate pad, forming an Ab-Ag complex. This complex then forms an Ab-Ag-Ab binding sandwich directly with the antibody of another monoclonal anti-Giardia in the nitrocellulose membrane.
How to use
Collect the stool with a swab and place it in the extraction tube containing 1ml of extraction solution.
Do not use wet or clumped stools.
Mix the extraction solution and buffer. Dispense 4 drops of sample (100 mcL) into the sample well (S) on the Test Cassette.
Read the results after 5-10 minutes. The results read after 10 minutes are to be considered void.
Interpretation of results
POSITIVE: Both the control line (C) and the test line (T) appear. The presence of Giardia antigens causes the test line to appear.
NEGATIVE: Only the control line (C) appears while the test line (T) does not appear.
INVALID: The control line (C) does not appear. Insufficient sample quantity or incorrect procedures may cause no control line (C) to appear. It is recommended to retest.
Warnings
For in vitro diagnostic use only.
Use within 10 minutes of opening the package as the test kit is very sensitive to moisture.
Be careful not to touch the results window.
Each sample must be added with a different dropper.
Use the extraction solution provided in the kit for the test.
Handle the sample carefully. It can be a vehicle for unknown viruses or bacterial infections.
Wear disposable gloves to handle the sample. Always wash your hands after handling the specimen.
Dispose of solid waste after sterilizing at 121°C for more than 1 hour.
Do not use the kit when the package is damaged or if the expiration date has passed.

Store at 2-30°C. Do not refrigerate.
Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.
