Symptomatic treatment of constipation . It promotes peristalsis, helping to have an adequate intestinal evacuation, thus counteracting constipation and preventing the formation of fecal impacts.
Macrogol is a water-soluble inert polymer with a high molecular weight that has the ability to bind to the water used for intake by retaining it in the faeces. It determines a rehydration and softening of the fecal mass and facilitates its evacuation. It accelerates intestinal transit by favoring peristalsis. It is not absorbed or metabolized in the gastrointestinal tract and does not lead to water and electrolyte imbalances when taken with the indicated dose of liquid.

How to use

Indicated for adults and children over the age of 12, from 1 to 4 sachets per day. The dose should be increased or decreased, depending on the individual response to treatment, to allow for smooth evacuation of soft stools. The maximum dose needed does not normally exceed 4 sachets per day.
Dissolve the powder in water or other liquid (125 ml for each sachet) and take immediately. It is advisable to administer the product in the morning if the minimum dose is to be taken (1 sachet per day). For larger doses divide the intake between morning and evening. If you do not notice any improvement after 7 days of treatment, consult your doctor.

Warnings

Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Administration to children must be carried out under the direct supervision of an adult. Do not use if the package is opened or damaged. During pregnancy and lactation use the product under medical supervision. The product can reduce the residence time in the intestine and therefore the absorption of medicinal products for oral use. It is therefore advisable to consult your doctor in case of simultaneous intake of medicinal products for oral use, which must in any case be administered at a distance of at least 2 hours. In case of unwanted reactions, stop the treatment and consult your doctor. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
