SenSura® Mio Convex is a closed pouch with an adaptable convex adhesive plate that offers stability in the peristomal area while remaining flexible. The elastic adhesive adapts to the individual shapes of the body and pouch while remaining discreet.
It features a curved shape that contours effectively to uneven skin areas, deeply placed areas, and stomata that need support or help to protrude. Combined with an elastic adhesive, it provides more effective adhesion to individual body shapes. It remains discreet thanks to the design of the filter and bag.
The adaptive convex plate remains permanently attached to the pouch. To replace the bag, the entire device is removed and replaced. The Light Convex Plate is ideal for stomata with skin-level orifices that need a little help to protrude, or for slightly deep-seated areas where a slight curvature is needed for a good fit.
Furthermore, it is made up of various pre-cut or cut-out formats for maximum customization, equipped with bags in different formats available in the transparent version or with an inspection window.

Main advantages:
- made of a material that we are used to wearing on the body, namely the textile material. It is soft and comfortable against the skin, tends not to cling to clothing and stays dry after a shower. Furthermore, the textile material makes the ostomy bag look more like a piece of clothing than a medical device;
- the color of SenSura Mio Convex has been chosen from hundreds of colors to find exactly the right shade for maximum discretion under clothing of any color – including white;
- does not try to imitate the body. It is a natural product, a personal accessory that optimizes discretion so you can always feel safe.

The function of the pre-filter is to protect the activated carbon membrane, since these are two parts that are very sensitive to contact with faeces. In this way, the circular filter clogs less frequently, allowing the air to flow through the filter longer and reducing the swelling of the bag.
In fact, the circular filter has been shown to reduce bag bulge by up to 61%. The circular filter will improve discretion and help you sleep better at night.
