SilDì Cream SILICIUM REPAIR CREAM geopharma

Emulgel based on bio-activated silicon (monomethylsilantriol) ideal for soothing, moisturizing and repairing the epidermis. Silicon is an important trace element for skin repair processes. The formula is completed by extracts of arnica, helichrysum and calendula, known for their soothing and emollient actions. Thanks to the demonstrated activity of silicon on tissue regeneration processes, and to the action of the other components, the preparation can be useful for normalizing sensitized skin. Sildì Cream can be applied to areas of the skin that are reddened, irritated, which tend to crack, or scars resulting from the healing of wounds or surgical cuts (intact skin).
Silicon plays a central role in tissue regeneration processes: scientific research has recently confirmed the fundamental importance of silicon in the growth and repair processes of the dermis and bone structures, thanks to its clinically proven action on connective tissue. The mechanism of action at the base of this activity sees the involvement of silicon in the stimulation of the synthesis of collagen, elastin and other molecules associated with the production of extracellular matrix, thus being crucial for the well-being and restoration of normal conditions of connective tissues (cartilage, tendons, ligaments) as well as the skin. Even if the symptoms of silicon deficiency are not known clinically, it is observed that its insufficient presence inside the organism is related to bone fragility, nails, hair and skin attachments. These manifestations are more frequent in elderly subjects: in fact the organic reserves of silicon are depleted with increasing age. In subjects on low-silicon diets, abnormalities were also observed in cartilage, suggesting that silicon is important for normal bone development. It has also been shown that a higher dietary intake of silicon is associated with a higher bone mineral density in men and women in pre-menopause, making it useful, according to laboratory tests, even in women in post menopause. Based on these evidences, silicon offers great potential for use in the prevention and contrast of bone demineralization, cardiovascular and neurological problems, and for the well-being of nails and hair. At the topical level it is instead used in the processes of cicatrization, and restoration of skin integrity. The limited nutritional supply of silicon from its natural sources is represented by the low concentration of this element, in its available form. These limits have been overcome by the patented bio-activation process (International Patent WO2019179611A1), the result of many years of research, which allows to stabilize the most bio-available form of silica facilitating its assimilation by the body.

How to use

Apply the product on the affected parts with a light massage, until completely absorbed. It can be used several times throughout the day.
