HYDROALGINATED WITH SILVER

Indications:
for the treatment of any type of infected or heavily colonized lesion with medium to very high exudation, such as leg ulcers, pressure sores, post-surgical wounds, etc.

Characteristics:
combines the powerful broad spectrum antimicrobial action of silver with the wet environment management properties of the new hydroalginate technology. Furthermore, the dressing, in a humid environment, increases the capacity of resistance to traction, thus favoring the integral removal of the product.
Hydroalginate dressing with silver fibers.

Warnings:
the sustained release of silver ions counteracts the bacterial load, reducing and eliminating the infection, while the hydroalginate fibers create a gel that increases the absorption and management of large quantities of exudate. Gelling minimizes trauma to newly formed tissues during dressing removal and guarantees the ideal moist micro-environment for wound healing, minimizing the risk of maceration and increasing the time spent in the dressing site. It adapts easily to the shape and size of the lesion and can also be used in cavity wounds.
