Silverix is a disposable sterile gauze for the periocular hygiene of adults and children.

It is indicated for the hygiene of the eyelids and eyelashes, even in the presence of secretions resulting from inflammatory and / or infectious phenomena, such as blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis of various kinds (even in the presence of skin peeling).
Its use is also particularly valid in the per and / or post-operative phase of ophthalmic surgery or in any case in events of traumatic origin (wounds, abrasions).
It is also recommended for daily hygiene of the periocular area for the removal of residues of cosmetic products from the eyelids and eyelashes in subjects predisposed to the onset of blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis of various kinds.
Its composition also allows it to be used by contact lens wearers.

Composition

100% cotton gauze soaked in 2.8 ml of the following solution: colloidal silver, sodium hyaluronate, chamomilla recutita, euphrasia officinalis, propylene glycol, phenylethyl alcohol, PEG-40 castor oil, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, coccoamino acid di wheat, ammonium glycyrrhizate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride, flavor, polysorbate 20, ethylhexylglycerin, water.

How to use

Daily eye cleansing: With clean hands, open the sachet and remove the wipe. Completely unfold the wipe and wipe it gently on the edge of the eyelid and lashes while keeping the eye closed.
In case of secretions that are difficult to remove, inflammatory states of the eyelid edge (conjunctivitis, blepharoconjunctivitis, styes) and occlusions of the lacrimal canal, it is preferable to carry out moist warm compresses in the affected area. To do this, heat the sachet by immersing it still sealed for 3-5 minutes in lukewarm water (40 ° C). After heating it, open the sachet, take out the wipe and, keeping it folded, gently massage the affected area for 1-2 minutes keeping the eye closed.
In case of itching or swelling of the eyelids it is advisable to carry out cold compresses in the affected area to obtain a decongestant effect. To do this, cool the sachet in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Open the sachet and apply the wipe keeping it folded in the affected area for 1-2 minutes, taking care to keep the eye closed.
Do not use in case of known incompatibility with any component of the product.
Do not use if the sachet is not intact.
In case of hot or cold packs, use the wipe following the instructions for use.
Once heated, the towel must be used for the compress within a few minutes or it must be thrown away.
