Sinea cotton wool is soft wadding of pure organic cotton for hygiene and personal care.
Certified by Icea Gots (Global Organic Textile Standard), this product is obtained with cotton from organic farming, bleached with hydrogen peroxide without the use of other chemicals.

Why use organic cotton instead of traditional cotton?
- because the conventional (non-organic) cultivation of cotton is the second largest source of agricultural pollution in the world: while covering only 5% of the cultivated areas, it pollutes 25% (in terms of pesticides released into the atmosphere);
- to produce a 160 g / ml T-shirt about 25 liters of water (contaminated by pesticides and herbicides) are needed for the cultivation of the plant alone: 70% of the water could be saved using biodynamic cultivation techniques (watering drop- a-drop);
- cotton is a big international business: pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, GM seeds, are all supplied by multinationals and their local organizations, very often enticing farmers with time financing against the right of exclusive supply;
- skin allergies are growing strongly: in children these grow at a rate of 5% per year, and to combat them you need pure textile products, without pesticides and residual pollutants.
