Hydroalcoholic Solution

The hydroalcoholic solutions obtained from fresh plants have the advantage of preserving all the active ingredients of the plant at the time of harvesting. They maintain the energy of the plant itself and make the contained principles more bioavailable for the human organism, increasing their effectiveness and their virtues on the various systems.

Most of the plants come from spontaneous harvesting while the rest are from organic cultivation.

[arcangea lavanda] The spontaneous species are collected in the Apennines (Ligurian and Romagnolo) and in small part in the Alps during their balsamic time.
They are then put into maceration within six hours of harvesting in a hydroalcoholic solution of different gradations according to their characteristics. Each plant is, in fact, extracted to its optimal gradation.

Plants that contain essential oils, for example, require an alcohol content of at least 60 °, those in which the extraction of alkaloids is dominant require a gradation of 55 °, starches, salts, saponins, etc. they can be transformed to lower gradations.

When necessary, the extraction in water is carried out first and only secondarily in alcohol (the Mallow and other plants containing mucilage, or the Devil's Claw for the extraction of the iridoid principles are placed first in aqueous maceration to allow to obtain the greatest part of principles that are water-soluble and then completed in alcohol.The maceration time must be at least six months and the macerate frequently and regularly mixed.

After maceration, pressing and filtering follow, and finally the obtained dye is brought back to volume.

[Bowl-flowers-orange] The salt of the plant obtained from the calcination of the pressing residue is then added to an increasing number of tinctures.
The calcination of what remains from the plant, after pressing, allows to obtain the ash which will be washed in rain water. By evaporating the filtered water from the ash, crystals will be obtained. They will then be washed (at least seven times) to make them white and soft as snow.

The salt will then be dissolved in the tincture.

The completion of the extract will be achieved by adding the essential oil according to the spagyric preparation.

A slight deposit of such solutions will be indicative of their vitality and integrity.
