Elastic stockings up to the groin (AG) with 15/18 mmHg compression hold-ups for the prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) for subjects with a body mass index (BMI) higher or equal to 30. The reinforced silicone flounce is anti-rolling, allowing an excellent fit even on particularly bulky limbs and with relaxed fabrics. Indicated in case of surgical interventions, in case of childbirth, long bed rest, neurological, polytraumatized. Elastocompression reduces venous volume and determines an increase in flow velocity at the same venous flow rate, reducing stasis, an essential factor in deep vein thrombosis (DVT). The special three-dimensional knitted fabric makes them soft and comfortable, easy to wear. They are made of bacteriostatic yarn which, thanks to the presence of silver ions, hinders bacterial proliferation ensuring the maintenance of the biological balance of the skin. These socks retain their characteristics when washed up to 80 °.
