Sterile Isotonic Ophthalmic Solution

Preparation consisting of a sterile isotonic ophthalmic solution containing hyaluronic acid sodium salt without preservatives, aimed at integrating the deficient tear secretion and restoring the physiological conditions of the tear film. Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide that becomes part of numerous tissues of the body. It has the property of adhering to the ocular surface, protecting, humidifying and lubricating it. Due to its mucoadhesive characteristics it remains on the surface of the eye for a long time and stabilizes the tear film. The amino acids L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride and L- leucine, contained in the product, increase the lubrication of the ocular surface and can contribute to the improvement of the protection of epithelia subjected to various kinds of stress. Indications: Lacrimal substitute for corneal protection, transparent, sterile, viscoelastic. protects, humidifies and lubricates the surface of the eye providing particularly prolonged relief of disorders caused by: mechanical stress: for example during and after the use of contact lenses or during surgical and diagnostic ophthalmological procedures. absence of conjunctival horny lubrication.

How to use : Instill 1-2 drops in the conjunctival sac 2-3 times a day or more, as needed. The product can also be instilled into the eye when wearing contact lenses or on the inner surface of the contact lens before its application.
