Bladder catheter with integrated bag with flexible body for intermittent catheterization in men. It is self-lubricating, sterile, disposable, measuring 44cm.
Catheters with patented hydrophilic coating, already immersed in physiological solution and with lubricated holes even internally after beveling (patent nr.WO2008104603). All SpeediCath catheters are ready-to-use and manufactured with Triple Action Coating Technology which ensures even lubricant distribution and no dry spots.
The "Ready to use" feature speeds up the preparation of the catheter (normally other catheters require several seconds to activate the lubricant) and allows you to keep the catheter body lubricated for a long time. The bevelled holes make the catheter gentle on the urethral mucosa both during insertion and extraction.
It guarantees no-touch insertion: it is entirely covered by a dry protective guide, which provides protection against possible external contamination during insertion (caused, for example, by contact with the user's hands or other external bodies). The catheter is already immersed in sterile saline for activation of the lubricating coating.
The lubricating liquid is inserted between the catheter and the protective guide and for this reason it is possible to manipulate the catheter without coming into contact with the liquid. SpeediCath Flex Set has a flexible Nelaton tip which facilitates passage through the sphincter and urethra. The tip is protected by a resealable cap, which also has the function of sealing the lubricant inside the protective guide.
SpeediCath Flex Set has an integrated graduated collection bag with a capacity of 1,000 ml. The bag is equipped with an anti-reflux valve, a pre-cut tab to facilitate its opening once the catheterization is complete, and two openings to support the bag itself and thus support emptying.
The primary packaging guarantees the sterility of the product and, when closed, constitutes a sterile barrier for the device. After use, the catheter can be reinserted for discreet and hygienic disposal.
The use of SpeediCath Flex Set is indicated in cases of urinary retention, it is simple to use, fast and atraumatic, indicated for those who have a permanent or temporary need to resort to this type of aid. It is particularly indicated for people who lead a active, who work or study.
The catheter is sterilized by electron beam irradiation.

Components
PU (polyurethane) and has a hydrophilic PVP (polyvinylpyrrolidone) coating.
The liquid in which it is immersed is a physiological solution composed of PEG (polyethylene glycol) and sodium chloride (NaCl) in purified water.
The primary packaging of the catheter is composed of a multilayer of Matt lack /PETP 12/PE 65 PEEL +3 layer print.

storage
Stored in a dry environment, at room temperature and away from direct sunlight. However, exposure to extreme temperatures for up to 24 hours will not cause damage to the catheter.
Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.
