BLADDER CATHETER CD 12

Indications:
Sterile single-use self-lubricating bladder catheter for intermittent catheterization. The use of this catheter is indicated in cases of urinary retention. The catheter is designed for connection with urine collection bags.
The catheter is particularly suitable for bladder emptying in patients who are unable to urinate spontaneously. The use is simple and traumatic, and therefore also indicated for those who have a permanent need to resort to this type of aids.

Characteristics:
Disposable sterile self-lubricating bladder catheter for intermittent catheterization. The catheter is already immersed in sterile physiological solution for the activation of the lubricating coating.
The package of the catheter (blister type) allows you to place the package, already open, on a horizontal surface without any spillage of liquid.
The SpeediCath Control catheter has the widest and most flexible section proximal to the fitting that allows effective control during the insertion phase of the catheter in the urethra. This section has a length of 8 cm and a diameter of 16 Cherriers, while the rest of the catheter body has a diameter of 12 Cherriers. The possible introduction of the widest part does not create problems for the urethra as the meatourethral has a diameter greater than 20 Cherrier.
It is made of PU (polyurethane).
The catheter has a hydrophilic coating of PVP (polyvinylpyrrolidone).
The liquid in which the catheter is immersed is 0.9% sterile physiological solution, with the addition of 6% PVP. The fitting is in PU.

Warnings:
we recommend storage in the original intact packaging away from light and humidity, at a constant temperature between 15 ° and 30 °.
The product does not contain Ecotoxic components therefore it does not require special disposal protocols. Do not disperse in the environment as it is not biodegradable.
