Description

Sterilpeg is a medical device in powder form for extemporaneous oral suspension , based on Macrogol 3350, useful in the treatment of constipation.

Sterilpeg can be used from 6 months of age.

Ingrediants

A full serving contains:
10g of Macrogol 3350, divided into 2 sachets of 5g each (half dose).

How to use

Dissolve the contents of 1 whole sachet (10 g) in about 125 ml (one glass) of still water, mixing well. Increase to 150ml in pediatric age. Drink the reconstituted solution. The half dose (5 g) can be dissolved in about half a glass of still water (62.5 ml).

It is recommended to take STERILPEG between meals.

From 6 months to 2 years (up to 12 kg):
the content of half a sachet (5g) 1 or 2 times a day.

2 to 11 years (12 kg to 20 kg):
the content of a whole sachet (10g) 1 or 2 times a day.

Over 11 years (or> 20 kg) and adults:
the content of a whole sachet (10g) 1 to 3 times a day.

It is possible to divide the daily dose into several administrations. The dose can be increased or decreased depending on the individual response to treatment. It is recommended in each
case to hear the opinion of the doctor. Use the product in pediatric children only after medical advice.

Warnings

Take Sterilpeg preferably between meals. It is not recommended for use in children under 6 months of age.
