Steristrip what it is for

Steristrip is a CE medical device that holds wound margins together for faster healing and good results. Useful for adhesive skin sutures for small wounds and cuts. Steristrip is a sterile, breathable product for good comfort; with good hold, white color. Reinforced.
Available in various sizes: 3mm X 75mm, 6mm X 75mm, 12mm X 100mm, 6mm X 100mm.

How Steristrip is used

1. Make sure the wound stops bleeding and the cut is clean. Clean the skin at least 5 cm around the wound and allow it to dry completely.
2. Open the plastic bag and take out the paper support with the suture strips; tear off one of the two paper tabs at the end. To reduce possible curl, the strips should be removed from the media at a 45 degree angle.
3. Starting from the central point of the wound, apply the first half of the suture strip transversely to the cut and, approaching the edges of the wound, adhere the other half of the strip, pressing firmly but taking care not to exert excessive tension.
4. Complete the wound closure with additional strips positioned approximately 2-3 mm apart for possible drainage of the exudate.
5. To remove the steri-strip adhesive suture strips, apply gentle pressure to the center of the suture strip, and then lift each end towards the wound and gently remove the entire strip.

Warnings for Steristrip

Sterile product as long as the pouch is not damaged or opened. use in the manner indicated. Do not swallow.

Proper storage of Steristrip

It is advisable to store in a cool and dry place, away from sources of heat and humidity. It is advisable to keep the product in the original packaging.
