Struva® 23 Mediven® anti-thrombus knee-highs Ref. H916
The Struva 23 preventive anti-thrombus stockings are a precious aid for the prevention of a thrombosis during a hospitalization and a consequent possible pulmonary embolism.
The field of application extends to the prevention of thrombosis before, during and after surgery. If the risk of thrombosis is moderate or high, prevention with anti-thrombus stockings is often supplemented with medications (eg heparin) and other measures (eg medical gymnastics). By means of a compression that is progressively reduced from the ankle (about 23 mmHg) to the thigh (about 13 mmHg), the return of venous blood is optimally accelerated.
Product features
During and after surgery, the unoperated leg is treated with mediven struva 23, for the prevention of thrombosis.
After 1-4 days, when the compression treatment of the operated leg with mediven struva 35 is stopped, this leg can also be treated with mediven struva 23.
Intended use
Circular knitted medical compression stocking for the compression of the lower limbs, mainly used in the prevention and treatment of vascular pathologies and, in general, of swelling.
