Mash for Horses

Compound for horse nutrition based on pre-cooked cereals.
The horse is a vegetarian animal, its digestive system has developed to assimilate food of vegetable origin, in a good percentage fresh, which unfortunately is not always possible.
This can lead to intestinal irregularity which in the most serious cases leads to colic; hence the need to administer weekly a feed capable of regulating intestinal functions.
Our mash made from cooked and subsequently dried cereals is the best solution to overcome the problems of preparing the classic mash in modern stables.
The ingredients, all of natural origin, refer to tradition with BARLEY, OATS, BRAN and LINSEED; the integration with vegetable oils and vitamins of vegetable origin guarantees the correct nutritional intake.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Barley, with a starch component of about 62%, is low in gluten but has a significant amount of minerals such as chromium and iron, is rich in soluble fiber, beta-glucan, thus limiting the absorption of fats and cholesterol .
Oats are rich in lysine, an amino acid of great importance for bone formation, fat, iron and water-soluble fiber.
Barley and oats are the basis of the horse's diet and when cooked, thanks to their property of absorbing water, together with their richness in fibers, they facilitate intestinal regularity.
The bran is the residue of the milling of cereals and thanks to the cellulose (fibers) of which it is rich, it guarantees intestinal regularity.
Flax seeds are rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, mucilages, proteins, minerals and vitamins B1 and B2; in water they release the mucilages which have an emollient and protective action in intestinal inflammatory states, in addition to the much better known ability to stimulate intestinal peristalsis.
The integration with vegetable vitamins has the aim of providing a more complete vitamin supply, increasing those present in lesser quantities while the vegetable oils provide omega 3 essential for the well-being of the organism thanks to their multiple actions: as an antiplatelet agent, they reduce the formation of blood clots by maintaining the fluidity of the blood and the elasticity of the arterial walls; they avoid the accumulation of triglycerides and cholesterol on the arterial walls by blocking the hardening of the vessels; protect the cardiovascular system from the risk of coronary heart disease, hypertension, arteriosclerosis and thrombosis; they attenuate inflammatory reactions such as asthma and rheumatoid arthritis; they promote the immune system and strengthen the skin's defenses.
After cooking our mash in water, it is dried and vacuum-packed, to avoid product deterioration, in single 2 kg portions (4 pre-measured single-meal portions); it can be administered dry or humidified.
