Sunny Side by Tattoo Defender is a sunscreen with a high protection factor (SPF 30-50), specific for tattoos. The creamy sun emulsion of Tattoo Defender allows a safe and homogeneous tan (free of unsightly spots), protects the brilliance and definition of tattoos and, more importantly, effectively counteracts the highly harmful action of UVA and UVB rays. which are also the main culprits for the deterioration of tattoos.

The merit of these fundamental properties goes to its formula rich in high quality excipients and numerous natural active ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, panthenol, vitamins E and F, Monoi de Tahiti, Aloe vera juice, collagen hydrolyzed, horse chestnut extract and horsetail extract.

The filters used for our sunscreen are both of chemical and vegetable origin and protect skin and tattoos in a reliable and safe way.

Sunny Side is therefore a sunscreen capable of giving shine and light to your tattoos, it is not greasy, does not stain clothes and has a natural hypoallergenic fragrance. At the end of exposure to the sore it would be recommended to use After Sunny by Tattoo Defender to decongest and moisturize skin reddened by the sun's rays or sun lamps and to promote the brilliance of tattoos.

UVA / UVB filters

Sunny Side uses both chemical filters and plant-derived filters, which, thanks to a complex molecular structure, protect tattoos from UVA and UVB rays, the main causes of their deterioration.

Protect the tattoos from the sun

It is now well established that tanning is unhealthy for the skin and even less so for tattoos. The UVA and UVB rays, if on the one hand give a beautiful golden color, on the other hand take away the life of the tattoos: the ink fades and the color becomes dull and "tired" from brilliant. This does not mean that you have to forget the tan forever, it is just a matter of taking some precautions. It all depends on how much love you have for your tattoos and how much you want them to stay shiny and not spoil over time.

All sunscreen products containing filters are inevitably subject over time, starting from the date of production, to natural degradation of the same implying a gradual decrease with the passage of time of the declared sun protection factor (SPF). This is the reason why, following in vitro tests carried out internally in our laboratories, all our products containing sunscreens have an expiry date of twelve (12) months from the date of manufacture.

Indications and method of use

Apply to the tattoo before sun exposure, repeat the application several times a day if necessary.
