Suprasorb P

Microporous Foam Adhesive Patch

Suprasorb P absorbs exudate quickly and safely because the microporous PU foam performs an excellent capillary action directly in the wound bed.
The material conforms to the wound bed. The particular surface of the Suprasorb P wound contact layer is gentle on particularly sensitive areas, such as healing wounds. The underlying semi-permeable PU layer stimulates the formation of the humid environment. Even after the secretions have been absorbed, the dressing retains its shape. It is antibacterial and waterproof *.
Suprasorb P is easy to apply and soft and pleasant to wear. Suprasorb P is available in three models: non-adhesive, self-adhesive and for applications on the sacrum. The self-adhesive model also features a skin-protective adhesive edge.
- Optimal wound healing thanks to reliable exudate management
- high comfort thanks to the soft and adaptable structure
- easy evaluation of exudate
- PU membrane that acts as a barrier against liquids and bacteria *

Indication

- wounds with medium exudate
- superficial wounds
- non-infected wounds
- in all phases of wound healing: pressure ulcers and of different origin, second degree burns, skin sampling sites, post-operative wounds

Suprasorb® P self-adhesive
Cleanse the wound with saline solution (eg Ringer's solution, physiological solution), then with the sterile compress, swab to carefully dry the periwound area.
Remove the protective film from the bandage.
Apply the bandage to the center of the wound. Suprasorb P should cover approximately 2-3 cm beyond the wound edge.

Caution

Dressing change interval: In the judgment of the treating physician based on the condition of the wound and the degree of exudation, no later than 5-7 days. Change the dressing as soon as the discoloration reaches the wound margin.
Suprasorb P can be used as a secondary dressing for wounds at risk of infection during regular antimicrobial therapy.
In the dry state, Suprasorb P can be easily cut to fit the individual wound size. The dressing should extend approximately 2 cm beyond the wound margins.
