NB: When the surgical metal instruments are immersed in disinfectants, the latter must not contain oxidants or corrosives. Therefore, use specific disinfectants for metal surgical instruments (such as Barrycidal “30”, blue Citrosil, etc.).
Conversely, other types of non-specific disinfectants can cause oxidation or corrosion.
