VO2® aerobic gel is an innovative energy supplement in a convenient pocket-sized, single-dose gel pack, designed for those who practice intermediate aerobic sports activities, i.e. between 30 and 60% of maximum oxygen consumption (VO2 max), therefore two different sources energetic.

During aerobic exercise, the sources of energy for the muscle are preferably guaranteed by fats and carbohydrates in an almost balanced way.

Up to now, sports nutrition has always given little consideration to fats as an energy source, as they are not very performing and laborious to take in their most natural form, oils.

Digesting a fat involves 3 hours of digestion. More recently, the introduction of particular fatty acids, MCTs (medium chain triglyceryds), simpler and short-chain fats (6-12 carbon atoms), is becoming increasingly interesting and successful in terms of results and performance.

We know that fats produce, unlike other energy sources, 9 kcal per gram, so they are able to guarantee energy for a long time, only in a less brilliant way, in terms of horsepower compared to sugars. MCTs are fats that are much more rapidly assimilated and usable than common lipids.

VO2® Aerobic also contains isomaltulose (Palatinose ™), a sugar with a low glycemic index, capable of guaranteeing a stable and prolonged energy response. Beetroot juice, in addition to providing a further supply of complex sugars, promotes the production of nitric oxide and together with arginine akg, helps enrich the muscles with oxygen.

VO2® aerobic is indicated as an energy supplement for athletes who practice disciplines defined as aerobic from a metabolic point of view, in particular endurance, such as running, cycling, skiing and cross-country swimming.
