SILVERCEL ^® NON-ADHERENT

SILVERCEL ^® NON-ADHERENT Antiseptic dressing based on hydroalginate is a tablet of alginate, Carboxylmethylcellulose (CMC) and silver coated with nylon fibers, with a non-adherent layer that comes into contact with the wound.

How does it work?

Non-adherent:
The film with EasyLIFT ^® technology allows:

• Easy and painless removal ^1,2
• Integral removal, minimizing the risk of fiber remains ³
• Effective protection of newly formed tissues ³

Antibacterial action:

• Guarantees the release of silver ions for up to 7 days ⁴
• It is effective against a wide range of wound pathogens, including MRSA, MRSE and VRE ^1,5
• Prevents and eliminates microbial contaminants in vitro ⁶

Absorption capacity:

• Can handle lightly to heavily exuding ulcers
• Ensures excellent exudate management ²
  Helps to maintain a moist wound environment, which is optimal for the healing process ²

Indications

SILVERCEL ^® NON-ADHERENT is indicated to manage bacterial contamination
and infections in heavily and moderately exuding wounds, including:

• Pressure ulcers
• Leg ulcers (e.g. venous, arterial, mixed, PG)
• Diabetic foot ulcers
• Donor sites
• Traumatic wounds
• Surgical wounds
