Description
Lipid-based lubricating product for dry eye therapy. It lubricates the ocular surface, integrates and stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film, reducing excessive tear evaporation.
SYSTANE BALANCE Lubricant Eye Drops provides lasting relief from dry eye symptoms such as burning and irritation.
Indicated in the treatment of dry eye for temporary relief from burning and irritation caused by dry eyes.
Instructions for use
It can be used as needed throughout the day.
It can be used to treat dry eye associated with contact lens use by instilling the drops before application and after removal of the contact lens.
Shake before using. Instill 1-2 drops in the affected eye and open and close the eyelids.
SYSTANE BALANCE Lubricant Eye Drops appear white before application.
Components
Sterile white emulsion containing: propylene glycol, hydroxypropyl guar, mineral oil, dimyristoyl phosphatidylglycerol, polyoxyl-40-stearate, sorbitan sadarate, boric acid, sorbitol, disodium edetate and POLYQUAD (polyquaternium-1) 0.001% as preservative.
May contain hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide to adjust pH.
Warnings
People allergic to one or more contained components should not use this product.

If you have a feeling of persistent discomfort, excessive tearing, vision disturbances or redness in the eyes, stop using SYSTANE BALANCE Lubricant Eye Drops and consult your specialist, as the problem could become more serious.
Disorders such as temporary blurred vision or other effects may affect your ability to drive or use machinery. In case of blurred vision after application, the patient must wait for vision to become clear before driving or using any machinery.
For ocular use only.
After removing the cap, if the safety ring has come loose, remove it before using the product.
To avoid contamination, never place the tip of the dropper bottle in contact with any surface.
Do not use the product if the emulsion becomes discolored.
Replace the cap after use. Keep container tightly closed when not in use.
Use by the expiration date indicated on the product.
SAFETY RING: Do not use if the safety seal is damaged or missing or the safety cap is damaged. Do not use if the package has been opened or damaged.
Throw away any remaining solution six months after first opening.
Keep out of reach of children.
Consult a doctor in case of ingestion.

Validity with intact packaging: 18 months.
Post-opening validity: 6 months.
