Tamanu Fitomedical Vegetable Oil

Calophyllum inophyllum L.

Precious eudermic preparations , obtained by cold pressing of the seeds, a method that guarantees the integrity of the constituents on which the specific health, cosmetic and skin rebalancing properties of each vegetable oil depend.

They can be used as they are, individually, combined with each other or mixed with oleolites, or as diluents of essential oils and blends of essences.

Tamanu seed oil (Calophyllum inophyllum L.) - Guttiferae (= Clusiaceae)

How to use

It can be diluted with other oils (Macadamia, Jojoba) to massage large skin areas or it can be used pure for localized treatments.
The application with massage or compress can be repeated several times during the day if necessary.
It can be mixed with other oils or oleolites, with OE and, extemporaneously, with Aloe Vera Gel, TM and MG.

Cosmetic properties

Penetrating, not too greasy, traditionally used to defend against sun damage and skin lesions.

Protective and regenerated, it lends itself to the treatment of sensitive and devitalized skin, diluted with other vegetable oils and enriched by the properties of essential oils.

Protective of blood vessels. Deodorant. Suitable for fragile, damaged, problematic and wrinkled skin.

Therapeutic properties

Powerful skin regenerator, healing, antiseptic and protective of the skin blood circulation.

For irritated skin (sun and other chemical-physical agents), for circulatory imbalances with vasodilation, stasis and varicosities (couperose, varicose veins, hemorrhoids). Useful in viral, bacterial and fungal infections of the skin, dermatitis and skin lesions.

Particularly suitable for thermal and solar burns and as an adjuvant for the healing of ulcers and sores.

Contraindications or warnings

Used neat it can sometimes irritate the skin; better to dilute with another base oil (10 - 30%). Rare individual intolerances.
