Tegaderm Sterile Transparent Film 3M 10X25cm - Polyurethane Dressings

Tegaderm is a transparent dressing in high permeability polyurethane film, a hypoallergenic and latex-free adhesive. The dressing allows an optimal exchange of oxygen and water vapor, so as to maintain the correct degree of humidity in contact with the wound. Furthermore, Tegaderm is impermeable to liquids, bacteria and viruses and therefore protects the insertion site from external contamination.

• Ease of use: The frame application system allows for rapid, waste-free application, even in larger sizes. Tegaderm is also easy to remove, using the "stretch" technique, without causing skin trauma even in patients with very fragile skin.
• Conformability: The very elastic and conformable film adapts to the contours of the body and allows movement without causing trauma to the skin. Rounded corners prevent edges from curling.
• Transparency: Allows continuous monitoring of the wound and surrounding skin.
• Protection.

The Tegaderm film, thanks to its "anti-friction" coating, minimizes rubbing and therefore also the lifting of the edges. This guarantees optimal fixation and durability (up to seven days).

HOW TO USE

Primary dressing in case of:

I ° or II ° stage bedsores.

• Collection sites for skin transplants.
• Clean and closed surgical wounds.
• Superficial wounds, such as abrasions, lacerations, blisters.
• 1st and 2nd degree burns.
• Skin that is irritated or continuously exposed to moisture.
• Secondary dressing for attaching gauze or other advanced dressings.
