How to use

Switch on the appliance by pressing the ON / OFF button. All notification symbols appear briefly and the device beeps, followed by the last measured temperature value.
If the temperature is lower than 32 ° C (90 ° F), the “Lo” message will appear on the LCD display, if the temperature is higher than 42.9 ° C (109.9 ° F), the “Hi” message will appear.
The thermometer is now ready for use.

You have the option of measuring your body temperature in both degrees Celsius and degrees Fahrenheit. Proceed as follows:
1. The appliance must be switched off.
2. Press the ON / OFF key for about 4 seconds to change the unit of measurement.
3. The relative unit of measurement set (° C or -%) appears on the display at the top right.

Place the tip equipped with the sensor under the tongue, under the armpit or in the anus:
- ORAL MEASUREMENT: put the thermometer with the tip of the sensor under the tongue and close the mouth. During the measurement, breathe through your nose and avoid altering the measured values.
- RECTAL MEASUREMENT: rectal measurement, considered annoying by many patients, instead gives precise results. For fast and reliable body temperature detection, carefully insert the sensor tip into the rectum about 1 cm.
- MEASUREMENT UNDER THE AXILLARY CABLE: Before taking the measurement, clean the armpit. Place the thermometer with the tip of the sensor in the armpit. Lower the arm and press it lightly against the body during the measurement.

The thermometer starts the measurement automatically. During the measurement, the “°” symbol flashes continuously. When the measurement is completed, the device beeps for about 10 seconds and the measured value appears on the display.
