How to use

Open the package when ready to use. ThermaCare can take up to 30 minutes to reach its therapeutic temperature. Remove the protective paper to reveal the adhesive part. Place on the painful area applying the adhesive side on the underwear and not in contact with the skin (part of the patch may come out of the slip). For maximum effectiveness, we recommend that you wear ThermaCare for 8 hours.
The product can be thrown hot or cold with normal household waste.

Warnings

Do not use

• If the contents of the cells are leaking and / or the band is damaged;
• With medicated creams or ointments, patches, or other sources of heat;
• On scratched or bruised skin;
• On bruises and swellings that appeared in the last 48 hours;
• On areas of the body that are insensitive to heat;
• By people who are unable to follow all instructions for use or who are unable to remove the product on their own, including children and the elderly who are not self-sufficient.

• Seek medical advice before use in cases of diabetes, circulation problems, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis and pregnancy.
• This product can cause sunburn to reduce the risk:
• Periodically check the skin to check for any signs of irritation or burns and, if found, discontinue use immediately.
• If you feel excessive heat, discontinue use or wear ThermaCare over clothing, not in direct contact with the skin.
• Above 55 years of age, the risk of sunburn increases over the years, do not wear ThermaCare while you sleep.
• To avoid an increased risk of burns, remove the product before undergoing MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) examinations.
• Do not use for more than 8 hours in any 24 hour period.
• Do not exert excessive pressure on the product or wear it under tight clothing or belts.

Discontinue use and consult a physician if pain increases or remains unchanged after 4 days and if you notice discomfort, irritation, burning, swelling, redness or any other persistent skin change in the area where the product was worn.
Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
The cells that generate heat contain iron (∼2 g). If the iron comes into direct contact with the skin or eyes, remove the band, rinse thoroughly with water and consult your doctor immediately. Also in case of accidental ingestion consult your doctor.
Avoid heating the product in any way (e.g. microwave oven) or trying to heat it, as the band may catch fire.
Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package and label.
