Features: Structure in resistant and light plastic material. Non-slip rubber sole. Internal padding of the sole in non-toxic evazote. Upright rods with velcro to grip the padding. Ankle boot lining in soft double-lined foam with brushed nylon for velcro grip. Straps for velcro closure. Adjustable joint for flexion-extension. Padded washable lining.

Indications

Rupture of the Achilles tendon. Post-operative treatment of malleolar fractures. Indicated in cases where it is necessary to limit the movement of the ankle.

Contraindications

The application of this brace is only recommended if it is documented that the fracture is stable and there are acceptable limits of angular and rotational deformity.
