POLYURETHANE FOAMS

Indications:
in the treatment of non-infected wounds, with medium exudate production, during the granulation and re-epithelialization phases.

Characteristics:
primary and sterile hydroactive dressing with and without adhesive edge. In contact with the wound, the polyurethane hydropolymer adsorbs the exudate, keeping the environment moist, while at the same time swelling and conforming to the wound, promoting healing. Thanks to its high absorbency, the patch can remain in contact with the wound for up to 7 days. The dressing is soft and adaptable so it adheres even to exposed surfaces without the need for additional fixings and can also be carried by ambulatory patients without detaching. It is applied like ready-to-use patches.

Components:
an outer layer in semipermeable polyurethane, equipped with a polyurethane eudermic gel adhesive, a double intermediate layer in non-woven fabric without binding substances and a polyurethane hydropolymer cushion, in direct contact with the wound.
