Baobab

It is a tropical tree of the African continent renowned for its many nutritional and pharmacological properties. Secular and immense in size, some specimens reach 5,000 years. For African peoples, the Baobab is food, medicine and a sacred place, so much so that only the wise can climb its branches. Its name derives from the Arabic bu-hibab or "fruit with multiple seeds" but it is more commonly called "The Good Giant" because the products made with its pulp and seeds help to rebalance the main functions of the organism and of the epidermis, giving well-being and energy. The pulp, extracted from the shell of its fruits, is very rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals and amino acids. The intake of about 5 grams per day are useful for maintaining the state of well-being of the organism, as it regulates the intestine, blood sugar and blood cholesterol values, gives strength, energy and endurance, balances the mood and relieves menstrual disorders, it is also anti-anemic, anti-febrifuge. From the seeds of the fruit, which represent an important part of its composition (about 40%), an oil rich in proteins and vitamins A, D and E is extracted. The oil is commonly used for the well-being of the skin, to counteract the effects of premature skin aging, by virtue of its antioxidant, emollient, smoothing and elasticizing properties.
