BENEFICIAL PROPERTIES OF CRANBERRY AND D-MANNOSE: Cranberry is mainly used as an adjuvant in the prevention of recurrent urinary tract infections. Cranberry extract counteracts the adhesion of uropathogenic bacteria to the vascular mucosa, reducing its colonization capacity. In vitro studies on women subject to recurrent urinary tract infections have confirmed the usefulness of cranberry as an adjunct in the prevention of uncomplicated recurrent urinary tract infections, precisely by inhibiting the adhesion of uropathogenic strains of E.Coli to the cells of the urinary epithelium. D-Mannose, a simple sugar extracted from birch, is able to act in synergy with Cranberry, as it has a high affinity for the mannose-sensitive lectins of many bacteria, including Escherichia Coli. D-Mannose, in fact, by binding to these lectins, counteracts the adhesion of bacteria to the urinary mucosa, promoting their elimination through the urine.

RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended to take one sachet a day, preferably in the evening before going to bed.
