OPHTHALMIC SOLUTION

Indications
Stabilizing and reintegrating lacrimal substitute in the alterations of the histological continuity of the corneal surface; the product is useful in excimer laser postures and in qualitative and quantitative alterations of the lacrimal film.

Dosage and method of use
1 - 2 drops in the conjunctival sac 2 - 3 times a day or according to medical prescription.

Characteristics
Consisting of a sterile ophthalmic solution containing hyaluronic acid and diginkgo biloba extract which has the purpose of protecting the corneal cells, lubricating the ocular surface, stabilizing and replenishing the tear film. Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide that becomes part of numerous tissues of the body and has the property of adhering to the mucus of the ocular surface, protecting, humidifying and lubricating it. Due to its mucoadhesive characteristics it remains on the surface of the eye for a long time and stabilizes the tear film bringing relief in all conditions of dry eye. Ginkgo biloba extract, commonly used in many fields of medicine, has components that exert antioxidant and protective activities on the ocular surface. These substances, and flavonoids in particular, are able to exert a neutralizing action on free radicals which, otherwise, would be harmful to the horny-conjunctival cells. Without preservatives, the product is sterile until the bottle is opened.

Warnings
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the bottle, it is only for external ophthalmic use. In case of administration of ophthalmic solutions for healing purposes, consult your doctor. In contact lens wearers, the product is administered between wears, do not use the bottle if damaged. Keep the preparation out of the reach of children.

Hyaluronic acid sodium salt; ginkgo biloba dry extract; N-hydroxymethylglycinate; sodium edetate; buffered isotonic solution at pH 7.2.
