Cold-pressed organic extra virgin coconut oil from the pulp of young coconuts, hand-picked in the Philippines. The bright white color (crystalline when liquid) and the delicate coconut scent, without hints of rancid or cloudy colors, are indicators of quality and careful processing to safeguard its precious contents.

It is a virgin oil rich in medium-short-chain saturated fatty acids (not to be confused with hydrogenated fats or with those of refined palm oil, which comes from a different palm variety than coconut), including known lauric acid, also present in breast milk. The cultivation of palms takes place in a non-intensive way and in the processing there is no recourse to refining, bleaching or deodorization processes.

It is an oil with multiple properties , which is why it is also known in the herbal and cosmetic fields. It can be used in the kitchen or consumed as it is. Above 24 ° C it assumes the liquid state with a crystalline color.

In the kitchen :
It is a very versatile product suitable for multiple uses (using 75g of extra virgin coconut oil instead of 100g of other fats), both for baking and for frying, as it has a high smoke point. Also suitable for fish and exotic recipes based on chicken or meat. Excellent as a base for spreads, it goes perfectly with chocolate.
