Eucerin Hypersensitive Skin products help fight the three main factors of hypersensitive skin: a compromised skin barrier, hyper-reactive sensory fibers and redness, often caused by inflammation. In developing the UltraSENSITIVE and AntiROSE lines, Eucerin took a holistic approach to what it calls the Hypersensitive Skin Triangle, developing products to suit every need.

Because hypersensitive skin has a compromised skin barrier, external stressors can easily penetrate and irritate the underlying sensory fibers. These, in turn, react faster and much more strongly than those protected by a healthy skin barrier. This leads to the development of unpleasant sensations which, among other things, have been subjectively described as tingling or burning.

Eucerin UltraSENSITIVE Soothing Normal to combination skin care is recommended for hypersensitive skin whose main problem is an unpleasant skin sensation but without visible redness.

ANTI-CONTAMINATION PACKAGING

All products in the Eucerin lines for Hypersensitive Skin have packs that protect the formulas from impurities and oxidation. This pack has three strengths: the valves, the connecting elements and the functionality of the dispenser. The valves have sterilizing filters, the junctions are ultra-welded and resistant and the dispenser has a sealed and very narrow tip.

Clinical Studies

Clinical and dermatological studies have demonstrated high skin tolerability and excellent efficacy on hypersensitive skin.

To establish the effectiveness of UltraSENSITIVE Soothing Treatment for Normal to Combination Skin, a self-evaluation study was conducted on 53 women (19-60 years old) with sensitive or very sensitive skin. The product was applied twice a day for 4 weeks on the divided face.
