Because UnIPO® with LcPufa, thanks to the thickening with starch and the presence of proteins with a high level of hydrolysis, therefore predigested, interacts not only more effectively with the problem but also has the following advantages: starch, used as a thickener, it acts only where it is needed, that is at the stomach level and once in the intestine, it does not interfere, like the indigestible fibers, with the metabolic and absorbing processes, necessary for the infant to dispose of the nutritional elements of the milk taken in their entirety. Furthermore, if it is partially digested in the colon it can carry out an appropriate prebiotic action, positively affecting the intestinal flora of the infant; protein hydrolysis makes the milk more digestible and consequently its gastric transit speed increases, simultaneously reducing any episodes of regurgitation as the frequency and number of the same is closely related to the gastric transit speed.

the presence of LcPufa (Long-Chain Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids or essential fatty acids with long chain) in UnIPO® means that even infants with similar problems can enjoy the evolutionary advantages that these substances determine (better acuity and development of the visual organs, Nervous system, of the elasticity of the cell membrane).
