How to prepare and store Mellin 1
- Store in a dry, clean place away from heat sources. It is recommended to prepare milk only at the time of the meal.
- Do not heat or boil the milk once it has been prepared.
- Do not reuse any leftover prepared product.
- Due to its properties, the product could present a phase separation once reconstituted. Should this occur, it is advisable to shake the bottle again until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
- Before preparation, make sure that the environment in which you are working is clean.
- Wash and dry your hands well.
Wash and rinse the bottle, the teat and the ring well.
Sterilize baby bottles, teat and ring, if you do not have a sterilizer available, boil them in water. Keep the pot and the sterilized objects closed with the lid until the moment of use. Be careful when handling objects if they are hot
Boil the quantity of drinking water necessary for reconstitution of the product in a clean container and allow it to cool.
Pour the lukewarm water into the sterilized bottle following the instructions given in the average feeding table.
Add the level scoops of powder following the indications of the average feeding table using only the scoop contained in the package.
Close the bottle and shake it for at least 10 seconds to dissolve the powder.
Once the product is ready, test the temperature on the wrist and administer to the infant. Consume within half an hour of preparation.
Immediately after use, close the package tightly and store in a clean, cool and dry place (not in the refrigerator). The product must be consumed within one month of opening.
Warning : Follow the instructions carefully: inadequate preparation and storage methods could pose a risk to the health of the infant.
