Flexible Lipido-Colloidal Interface

For the treatment of:

• Acute wounds (burns, traumatic injuries, dermabrasions, post-surgical wounds)
• Chronic wounds (leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and diabetic ulcers) in the granulation and epithelialization phase.
• Bullous epidermosis
• Cavity lesions and lesions located in difficult-to-dress positions.

How to use:

• cleanse the wound with physiological solution;
• in case of using an antiseptic, wash the wound with physiological solution before applying the product;
• remove the transparent protective film;
• apply to the lesion in a single layer;
• it can be cut with a sterilized instrument to adapt it to the size of the lesion;
• Cover Urgotul with a secondary dressing that can absorb the exudate level of the wound;
• secure the secondary dressing with a conformable band, adhesive plaster or flexible tubular mesh;
• it can be left in place for 2 to 4 days, depending on the state of the injury;
• in patients with Bullous Epidermosis, the dressing should be replaced every 1-3 days.

Characteristics:
Medical device.

• Contains Carboxy Methyl Cellulose (hydrocolloid), paraffin, petroleum jelly and polymeric linking agents.
• It is based on Lipido-Colloidal Technology (TLC).
• Flexible dressing with occlusive and conformable, consisting of a polyester weft impregnated with hydrocolloid particles dispersed in a vaseline matrix, which creates a humid environment, conducive to healing. Thanks to the chemical composition greasy but not greasy to the touch, it does not adhere to the wound or to the edges.

Removal of the dressing is painless and atraumatic.

This results in specific properties:

• creation and maintenance of a humid environment conducive to healing;
• gelation in contact with the lesion;
• atraumatic removal for newly formed tissues;
• painless dressing replacement for the patient.

Sterile packaging in single pouches, with tear-open opening. Single use. Sterilized by irradiation.

Warnings :

• adheres to latex surgical gloves. It is therefore recommended to moisten the gloves with a physiological solution to facilitate their application.
• If there are clinical signs of local infection and depending on the physician's opinion, the injury can be treated with an antibacterial dressing.
• In the case of deep wounds and wounds with fistulas, it is recommended that a portion of the dressing be left visible to facilitate removal.
• Do not sterilize the dressing.

Storage:
store the dressings horizontally, away from humidity and direct heat sources, at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
