DESCRIPTION AND PROPERTY

Glucosamine

is an amino sugar present in chitin and glycosaminoglycans (such as hyaluronic acid), it represents one of the main precursors of the synthesis of glycosylated proteins physiologically present in the connective tissue of nails, tendons, skin, synovial fluids, bones and cartilages. In vitro and in vivo studies have shown that glucosamine, taken orally, can play an important role in maintaining the structure and function of joint cartilages; its assimilation is favored in the presence of Vitamin D, Manganese and Boron.

Chondroitin Sulphate

it is a glycosaminoglycan which is normally associated with proteins to form proteoglycans, physiological constituents of the extracellular matrix of connective tissue with diversified roles; in the cartilage, for example, they give resistance to mechanical compression and a right degree of elasticity. In vitro and in vivo studies have also shown that oral administration of chondroitin sulphate can increase the concentration of hyaluronic acid at the synovial level, thus favoring joint viscosity.

Silicon

it is a mineral which, especially in some animal species, is considered necessary to favor the correct formation of bones and cartilage, as it can be involved in the synthesis of collagen and glycosaminoglycans.

Boron

it is a mineral which, from in vitro and in vivo studies, has been shown to be useful for promoting calcium homeostasis with a consequent positive effect on calcification and bone strength, also being able to affect joint well-being.

C vitamin

Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage and bones.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: We recommend taking 2 capsules a day, preferably between meals. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Contraindicated in cases of ascertained hypersensitivity to one of the components, in children, during pregnancy and during lactation. Contains shellfish derivatives. Glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate could reduce glucose tolerance and increase insulin resistance, therefore diabetic subjects should only take the product under medical advice and supervision.An interaction of glucosamine with coumarin-based anticoagulants (warfarin and acenocoumarol); people being treated with coumarin anticoagulants should therefore consult with their doctor.

UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS: No undesirable effects were found at the recommended doses.
