FERRUM VANDA is a food supplement based on iron, vitamins and minerals, useful in case of food shortages or increased needs. Iron plays a role of high importance in many biochemical processes, which is why, when there are situations of deficiency (poor absorption or high elimination) its integration restores the homeostatic balance helping to favor:

• normal energy metabolism
• the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin
• the normal transport of oxygen in the body
• the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
• the normal function of the immune system

The Ferrum Vanda supplement is effective by virtue of its integration with the B vitamins.

In association with iron, the integration of B vitamins assist its action, in particular:

- folate contributes to normal hematopoiesis thanks to its fundamental contribution in the transport of carbon monoxide units for the formation of the prosthetic heme group of hemoglobin. At the same time it promotes the normal metabolism of homocysteine (thanks also to the presence of vitamins B6 and B12) and the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy.

- riboflavin contributes to normal iron metabolism and to the maintenance of normal red blood cells.

Furthermore, vitamin C increases the absorption of iron and copper its normal transport in the body.

DESCRIPTION AND PROPERTY:

Vitamin B1 - thiamine: coenzyme of important enzyme complexes, it helps to support normal energy metabolism, the proper functioning of the nervous system and heart function.

Vitamin B2 - riboflavin: helps to support normal energy and iron metabolism by promoting the maintenance of normal red blood cells. Helps to reduce the feeling of tiredness and fatigue, contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system.

Vitamin B6 - pyridoxine: is a water-soluble vitamin necessary for the proper functioning of over 60 enzymes and participates in the energy cycle by activating the release of glycogen by the liver and muscles. Promotes normal homocysteine processing and contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. It contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and is also indicated for the regulation of hormonal activity, for the normal functioning of the nervous system and for a normal psychological function.

Vitamin B12 - cyanocobalamin: It is a vitamin containing cobalt and is indicated to support normal energy metabolism, the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, the normal formation of red blood cells and the normal metabolism of homocysteine. It also contributes to normal psychological function and to the normal functioning of the nervous system and the immune system.

The iron used in FERRUM VANDA is a ferric pyrophosphate reduced into very small granules covered with emulsifiers that favor its dispersion in body fluids and prevent its precipitation, making the iron highly bioavailable.

Copper : promotes the assimilation of iron by the intestine and its normal transport in the body. Together with vitamin C it contributes to the maintenance of connective tissue and to protect the body from the aggression of free radicals. The copper used in FERRUM VANDA is bisglycinate copper, a highly absorbable salt.

Zinc: supports the physiological function of the immune defenses and helps protect cells from oxidative stress. It intervenes in the cell division process and is involved in the processes of regulating the synthesis of nucleic acids (DNA). The zinc used in FERRUM VANDA is bisglycinate zinc, a highly absorbable salt.

Ferrum Vanda is an effective iron supplement thanks to the integration of Molybdenum and folic acid.

Molybdenum : important enzymatic cofactor of many reactions involved in the metabolism of sulfur amino acids.

Folic Acid : it intervenes in the cell division process, is involved in the synthesis process of amino acids and in hematopoiesis. It contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism and to the normal growth of maternal tissues in pregnancy. INDICATIONS FOR USE:

We recommend taking 1 capsule a day per day, preferably between main meals.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Contraindicated in cases of ascertained hypersensitivity to one of the components.
